Thank you for considering a gift to Resurrection Oakland.

Our prayer is that we would be a church filled with people who give generously because God has been generous towards us. The Gospel says that God has withheld nothing from us, not even his own Son. Therefore, Christians give not to earn God’s favor but because they have His favor.

There are several ways to make a gift to support the mission and ministry of Resurrection Oakland:

Online

Give a one-time donation or set up recurring giving on our secure online giving portal.
*Please note that credit card transactions incur a 2.3% processing fee whereas ACH (bank transfer) do not.

Giving on Sundays

An offering box is located in the back of our sanctuary during the Sunday service. This is a tangible way to express our giving as an act of worship.

Automatic Payments

Donate Assets

Giving assets such as stocks or bonds is a particularly tax-advantaged way to donate. If your stock is in a brokerage account, transferring is relatively easy. The only information that your broker needs to make the transfer is our account numbers and EIN:

DTC#: 0164, Code 40

Charles Schwab & Co. Inc. (211 Main Street, San Francsico, CA 94105)

Account #: 6907-6106

Resurrection Oakland EIN: 82-4076145

Also, when you do make the transfer, please email finance@resoakland.com the type of stock and the amount so that it is recorded under your name and you receive the appropriate tax deduction (on our end we are unable to see the name of whom it came from). Resurrection Oakland’s policy is to sell the assets after they are received so that the funds can be used for ministries.

Corporate Matching

Many companies match their employees’ giving up to a certain level through benevity.org. Those company gifts go directly into our diaconate mercy fund, which means your company can help support our giving to individuals in need and ministries in Oakland! Check with your employer to see if they participate in matches.

All contributions are secure and tax-deductible. You will receive a year-end giving statement for your records.
