We have four classrooms on Sundays at both our 9am and 11am services: nursery (age 0-24 months), Preschool (age 2-5), Kindergarten - 2nd Grade, and 3rd - 5th grade. We also host ResKids events for kids and families throughout the year.
Our Classrooms
Nursery (0-24 months) and Preschool (age 2-5)
Background-checked staff and volunteers provide care for your children during the full length of service. The kids hear a Bible story and participate in age-appropriate games, activities and crafts. The Nursery and Preschool classrooms open 15 minutes prior to each service and care extends for 30 minutes after the service concludes.
We use the the Baby’s Hug-A-Bible in our nursery classroom, which includes ten Bible stories in rhyme. Each story has an accompanying song by Rain for Roots.
In our preschool classroom, we are studying stories about Jesus using the Little Me, Big God series. We focus on one Bible story each month with fun games, activities, and crafts to help kids learn how much Jesus loves them. We also highly recommend The Beginner’s Gospel Story Bible for families to use at home with toddlers and preschoolers.
Elementary (K - 5th Grade)
Volunteers lovingly teach our kids the big picture of God's story, sharing how each story in the Bible points to the gospel of Jesus Christ. We have two elementary classrooms : K-2nd Grade and 3rd - 5th Grade.
We use the Jesus Storybook Bible curriculum to to help kids understand how the Bible is one cohesive story with Jesus as the hero. We also love and recommend The Biggest Story Bible Storybook and Read Kaleidoscope Bibles, which are written at an elementary-aged reading level.
These classes begin midway through the service and kids return to their families during communion.
ResKids Elementary
We teach the big picture of God's story, sharing how each story in the Bible points to the gospel of Jesus Christ.
Safety
For the safety and security of your children, background checks are conducted on all staff and volunteers.
Parents must check-in their children (infant-5th grade) before worship at the ResKids registration table. At check-in, you and your child will be given matching identification tags that are exclusive to your family and your visit.
Please have your child wear their name tag and hold onto your parent security tag as you will need to show it in order for your child to be released back to you at pick-up.
If you are needed during the service, one of our staff will page you by texting the number associated with your child given at check-in. Please make sure we have your updated information.
