This event will be held directly across the street from the church after both services on the 2nd floor of 1714 Franklin. Coffee and a light breakfast will be provided.

Join us for a morning of food, teaching, and fellowship at ResOak.

Do you ever feel like you lack purpose in your work? Do you wonder if society’s vision for work is inadequate? Do you struggle to connect your faith in Jesus with your daily responsibilities in your workplace? 

This 8-week discipleship class is designed to help you see that the gospel of Jesus Christ provides a beautiful and compelling vision and mission for your work. To be clear, this class is NOT about working for a church. It is not about evangelism in the workplace. It is about how the gospel changes everything, including how and why you work, whatever your work might be.

In this class, you will receive robust Biblical teaching from Pastor Dave, practice spiritual disciplines, complete individual and group assignments, and meet weekly with a small group. It will meet from 5-7pm on Sundays, 9/21 through 11/9.

The first session of this class is being held on the 3rd floor of the Wakefield.

Are you exploring Christianity but have nagging questions? Are you a long-time Christian but have the same? Join us after service for a time of question and response about the Christian faith with our pastors. Text your questions about the sermon or about the Christian faith in general and stick around after either service to hear the pastors respond to your questions.

Many of you are new to our church. We are so glad you found us, and we would love to welcome you. Join us for dinner on a Friday night to meet our pastors, enjoy a meal, learn how you can get more connected to our community, and hear about our mission to be a church in and for Oakland. Dinner will be on the 3rd floor of the Wakefield building around the corner and childcare will be held at the church.

Please RSVP by Sunday, 9/14 if you need childcare, and please RSVP for this event by Wednesday, 9/17 so we know how much food to prepare.

Join us for a day of fall fun for the whole family at our ResKids Family Fall Fest! Whether you're racing in a potato sack, brushing a friendly horse, or enjoying a tractor ride around the grounds, there’s something for everyone to enjoy! Bring your kids, bring your friends, and don’t forget your fall spirit! We can’t wait to celebrate the season together with fun, laughter, and community. Tickets are $5/person and include a taco lunch, drinks, a snow cone, and unlimited bounce house fun! Registration required.
