Spiritual Formation Dessert

Join us for a Spiritual Formation talk, followed by dessert and discussion on August 22 from 7:00 to 9:00 PM at Resurrection Oakland.  For this event, we will have a special guest speaker, Gary Quan LMFT. He will be speaking on "Gaining Ownership of Your Story.

Have you been wondering where your place in this life is or has been?  Who has been in ownership of your life story? How do THEY think you are doing? What does God think about you?  Gary will bring his faith and clinical expertise to bear as he helps us process these questions and more.

Gary Quan has over 18 years of experience working to support couples, and families across cultural and socio-economic spectra in a variety of settings.  He currently works as Core Faculty at California Institute of Integral Studies while teaching at University of San Francisco and Western Seminary.  In April, he wrote and published Asian American Chronicles:  Tales of Mental Health and Hope with a team of therapists. He serves primarily AAPI patients with Christian Counseling Center (Los Altos and Sunnyvale) and provides teletherapy for Daybreak Health (kids and teens) and Octave (adults).
