Join us to cheer on the Oakland Roots, our city's professional soccer team. Kickoff is 7pm at the Oakland Coliseum. Tickets are $10 per person.  Kids under 24 months do not need a ticket, but must sit on the lap of an accompanying adult. Your ticket also grants you access to the Oakland Soul game at 4pm on the same day.

Carolina Ixta’s award-winning debut YA novel is a coming-of-age story about two Latina friends in East Oakland navigating misogyny, domestic violence, racism, and the consequences of their own choices. Can Belén and Leti break free from cycles of generational trauma?

Join us at CityTeam Oakland for S.O.S (Serving on Saturdays). We will be helping to clean, organize and keep the men’s shelter running smoothly. Volunteers will assist with a range of duties from cleaning to sorting and organizing clothing donations, creating hygiene kits, and making bagged lunches for the unhoused. Space is limited to 15 volunteers. Age 10+. Youth ages 10-14 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
